My take
My single complaint about every air-pulse toy used to be that pressing it harder when you're close makes the motor bog down right when you don't want it to. The Sona 2 Cruise is Lelo's literal answer to that — "Cruise Control" holds about 20% of power in reserve and releases it when you press in.
The first time it didn't fade out at the worst moment I actually said "oh, finally" out loud.
Otherwise it's a Sona: diffuse, rumbly-feeling air-pulse that suits people who find Womanizer too pinpoint-intense. It's pricier than the regular Sona 2 and the Cruise feature is the entire reason to pay the difference — but it's a real fix, not a gimmick.
- Cruise Control keeps full power when you press hard
- Diffuse, less pinpoint than Womanizer — gentler
- Waterproof, quiet, Lelo build quality
- Pricier than the standard Sona 2
- No app; fewer settings than a Womanizer Premium
If you want to look it up, here’s the cleanest place to find it:
See Lelo Sona 2 Cruise at PinkCherryAffiliate link. Buying through it pays me a small commission at no cost to you. It doesn’t change anything I said above.
