My take
I bought the Sex & Mischief Blackout Blindfold because I needed a soft eye mask and wasn't feeling the novelty options. The market for adult blindfolds is mostly leather or velvet with cheesy "BAD GIRL" branding, which is fine if you like that, but I wanted something that could pass for a fancy sleep mask in a suitcase.
This one fits the bill. Soft padded contoured shape, plain matte black, adjustable elastic strap with a small velvet "Sportsheets" tag at the corner that nobody else will recognize. The padding around the eyes means you can blink normally without lashes brushing fabric — small thing, but it makes the difference between "this is a vibe enhancer" and "this is mildly uncomfortable."
Almost-blackout but not 100% — a tiny amount of light leaks at the bridge of the nose. Most people won't care; if you're using it during the day in a bright room, you might. At $15 it's the cheapest piece of bondage-adjacent gear that I'd actually keep and recommend.
- Comfortable padded shape that doesn't press on eyes
- Adjustable elastic strap
- Plain matte black — no themed look
- Not 100% blackout — slight light leaks at the bridge

Beginner bondage gear that won’t terrify you
You don’t need a dungeon. You need a soft blindfold and a $45 strap kit.
If you want to look it up, here’s the cleanest place to find it:
See Sportsheets Blackout Blindfold at PinkCherryAffiliate link. Buying through it pays me a small commission at no cost to you. It doesn’t change anything I said above.
